The National Fallen Firefighters Foundation was created by Congress in 1992. The mission of the Foundation is to honor and remember America's fallen fire service heroes, and to provide necessary resources to assist their survivors in rebuilding of their lives.

The National Fallen Firefighters Foundation is a non-profit, tax-exempt corporation under Section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code.
